Sensitivity Analysis of Battery Aging for Model-Based PHEV Use Scenarios

Battery lifetime is an important parameter in the life cycle assessment (LCA) of a plug-in hybrid-electric vehicle (PHEV). This paper aims to study impact various parameters on battery aging PHEV. For this purpose, model-based use cases are generated, outputs which daily driven distances for period one year, recharge scenarios, and temperature. A combined model (calendar cycling aging) used calculate capacity lost by at end year use. The thermal using electro-thermal coupling equation, ambient temperature modeled minimum maximum data varying throughout different cities. Finally, sensitivity analysis carried out conditioned variance method identify most input largely affect output study. results show that size, annual mileage, external temperature, charging behavior be considered PHEV personal car.
